just missing someone
people are never online when i am. it sucks.
lighthouse had its first session for this sem last monday with joel. i've never had my poetry workshop-ed before and it took a lot out of me to keep a straight face; i wanted to both laugh (out of nervousness, i suppose. read: palanca winner siya) and complain that he was reading it wrong, though that reflects my failure as a writer. but it was a good experience and i am now forcing myself to start writing again. i really must make time for writing; my idea notebook has nothing but undeveloped ideas.
my creative process puzzles me. it's easy for me to find something to write about: i practically breathe them in. my problem lies in putting my ideas on paper: in finding the time to write them down and in arranging them cohesively to become a poem. sometimes i feel very tempted to abandon (if only temporarily) the struggles of a "poet-in-the-making" and find consolation in my beloved digicam instead.
but here i am, rambling away, writing yet again. "i know no other way than this" (we really must stop quoting neruda lest we turn his poetry into a sort of cliche)
