rituals

well, there. i'm graduating at all costs.

i have two weeks to complete the rest of my requirements just so i can get a (decent) grade and graduate. i won't be marching/participating in the commencement exercises (aka the official graduation program) but i'm thankful i'm still graduating with my batch. i do feel a bit bad about not actually wearing a cap and toga, marching up the stage and accepting my diploma but i'm still lucky to have come this far despite my own shortcomings. and for that i am ever thankful:

to God, for my brains and the opportunity to use them
to Mommy,for buying me a new laptop and sunflower seeds from Chinatown
to Evelyn, for helping me crack the seeds and keeping me well-fed
to the children, for not bugging me
to the Pajarillos, for bearing with my unexpected sleepovers
to girlfriend Jilly, for nagging me to finish my papers
to Em-girl and Vip, for impromptu dinners (sans batels)
to Jason Anak, for supplying me with loads of downloaded mp3s
to Kakoi, for playing the devil’s advocate, buying me decaf iced tea and polluting my mind with post-col theory
And especially to Coach, for believing in me and being the source of my comfort, inspiration and encouragement

i love you all. thank you for teaching me.
