pain is a reminder that you're alive.

sure, it hurts and you may come to a point wherein you wish you were dead. that's when you realize that you aren't. you're alive and it means everything. it means you can start again. laugh again. love again.

take it from someone who's deathly afraid of pain but slowly trying to learn to embrace it.
