moo-sic

music: missing you now - stereophonics

my husband's in malaysia; i'm single for yet another week. i type this in between chatting with a friend in a quest for "someone" (hey honey, can i plug you right here? single female seeks male companionship, hehe) and another who just lost her "someone."

what is it about women (or is it just our culture) that constantly defines her in relation to another, to others?

i like picking at the brains of male friends for insights into their psyche. the mental machinery is just so different. i want to know, for example, if guys get into the i-miss-so-and-so mode and their version of the i'm-so-depressed-i-need-chocolates-and-my-girlfriends-and-shopping-to-cheer-me-up phase all girls are bound to experience at least once in a lifetime.

so, in celebration of "single-hood" (hehe, kaya wala si jilly), a few girlfriends and i are planning to have a lovely, music-filled night-out on thursday. hopefully, there will be (a little) dancing and eye-candy (ahem) to liven up the evening. good food, good company, good music. can't wait!

and to share my moo-sic happiness (and ever-growing song database) with you, dear reader, i'll be providing downloadable music (via sendspace) right here on my blog. you can listen to the music "attached" to my entries by clicking on the title and downloading the mp3 file. i have an eclectic taste so you should be able to find something you like. otherwise, feel free to request songs by leaving a message on my tagboard.

okay, i feel much too fragmented to write anything else. @_@

(you won't probably see this but i miss you, mahal. forget the elephant. forget the sun-bear. what i'd give to have you here with me instead.)
